ABOUT REDGUM

Red Gum is one of Australia's most beautiful trees, predominantly associated with the Murray River and peaceful river scenery.

Its beauty must be realised and protected for all time.

For those of us privileged enough to be able to source some of this material, this in itself is an honour and a task not to be abused.

The timber itself has many uses, such as dining tables and all manner of uses that depend on the eye of the artist that is creating these works of art.

Red Gum has been used traditionally for railway sleepers and such other domestic building products, landscape timbers, fencing droppers, stakes for olive trees, almond orchards, flooring and ship building.

We as the guardians work under very controlled conditions set by and supervised by each authority's department to ensure that all things are environmentally sustainable.

We use the very latest modern harvesting equipment to lower our footprint to world standards.
